Hello,

does somebody know where to get a Color-Skopar 28/3.5 in Europe, esp. Germany? On the bay there's nothing at the moment. Only wider (25 or 21 mm).

CameraQuest and Photovillage both carry them. I'm sure they'll ship to Europe. I just bought one. A great tiny, jewel-like lens in chrome. Love it. Smaller is better!

I highly recommend Robert White, and he's still listing the lens. I recently bought the CV 21mm from them, as well as the 21mm Pentax DA Limited, and am very happy with teir service and very speedy delivery.

Moreover, with the GBP currently as low as it is against the euro, their prices are really interesting.

Remember that you still have to add 15% VAT to the prices at Robert White's. One advantage of shopping in the UK vs. from the US is that there won't be any custom duties.

www.fotopartner.de also has a range of Voigtländer lenses and cameras.

Thanks for the hints, guys.

Considering the Ultron 2.0 and other lenses, too. But I'll have to decide for just one at a time, since budget is limited.

The "snapshot skopar" looks also interesting.

Foto Gregor in koln. There are another two decent store next the main trainstation and cathedral but prices were pretty high. There's two in Dusseldorf but I forgot their names, ones in the shadow arcaden.

Foto Gregor? Yes, that's a spot I could ask, thanks. (another Cologne based store won't see me again - such dumbasses...:bang: sorry, but so true Leica snobbism there... the one with the L.... oh dear...)

If it won't be the skopar 28/3.5 then fotopartner or foto-mundus will work, too. :) Just a matter of decision.

I also bought some CV material (my very first Bessa R, 35mm and 50mm Skopars) in Aachen at Audiophilfoto. Small shop, great choice and knowledgeable people. Highly recommended! But when I was looking for a 28mm Color-Skopar, they were sold out there...

Concerning Robert White, as I said the GBP is very low, and the VAT has recently come down from 17.5 to 15%, so getting more interesting all the time...

There is also some Voigtländer for sale at Fotopartner, and of course at Brenner, but I never dealt with them (yet)...
