Color Skopar 35/2.5 - Good enough?

mmikaoj,

Thank you for your comments. The hooded figures are "Nazarenes" - Penitents taking part in the Semana Santa (Holy Week) celebrations in Seville last weekend. There were hundreds of these people taking part in processions all around the city, watched by thousands more. To see more, have a look at my Flickr Set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lightmancer/sets/72157604189566892/

I find it fascinating that the same basic outfit can have two such different meanings either side of the Atlantic.

Regards,

Bill

Thank you all for the responses. I have a follow up question - since I don't like focusing tabs/levers, that would leave me with the Skopar Pancake I - first version, but they are no longer made. Any idea where I could find one other than ebay or possible here?
Thanks.

Ah a pity you dont like tabs, I quite like them and the one on the 35 PII is quite nice actually. I was going to offer mine to you here, I am getting ready to sell mine soon, I would rather sell it on RFF but am looking into options on the best way to mail it to wherever it needs to go.

Love my Skopar C 35/2.5. It is the one among the three CV lenses of mine (the others are 21/4P and Nokton 50/1.5). It also has highest contrast (a bit too contrasty). I prefer tabs to lever.

Could one of the owners of the Version 1 Skopar 35/2.5 Pancake - one without the focusing tab, post a photo of it on a camera?
Thanks!
