Color-skopar 35mm f2.5 pan type II

The more I see from this lens and the 35/1.2 makes me think owning both wouldn't be such a bad idea. Keep the heavy 1.2 in the bag 'til you need it and have the 2.5 for your walk about lens.

Had it, sold it, went back to the previous version. Same glass, far better handling, and more flexible. I can use it on both my screw and M bodies. Sharp as a tack, great contrast. Small metal 3rd party hood and you're away.

Regards,

Bill

I for one find the PII easier to handle. Nice hood, etc. Plus its smaller, and you avoid the LTM adapter.

It does not exist in chrome.

Roland.

The PII is marginally smaller than the Color Skopar C 35/2.5 (see this picture on Cameraquest.com). With the hood, the Color Skopar C is definitely smaller than the PII. Plus, I don't see the adapter as a problem ... and the Color Skopar C does exist in chrome.
Yeah, I'm partial to the Color Skopar C but it's such a great lens :)

Couldn't more agree with you Bill! :)
