color skopar 35mm or Nokton 35 mm :-)

i own a Color Skopar 35mm 2,5 , a lovley small and sharp lense for my R-d1. But somtimes i wish there was some more light at F2,5 🙂 So i dicide to change against the Nokton 35mm 1,4.
What do you mean, should i just take pictures with my color skopar, i love it, cause its so sweet small against my Nokton 50mm 1.1 🙂 or should i take the nokton 35mm 1.4 classic
for S/W the better way ? hm

If you already have the 50/1.1 then I would stay with the 35/2.5.

I also have the little Color Skopar. It often is the one I use, especially for travel, while the more expensive and better Leica lenses stay home, or else they come along in the bag in case they are needed when the light is low. You seem to like your Color Skopar for the same reason, so I think you should keep it. If you want something new to play with, how about a 28mm f/3.5? I have that one and like it a lot also. Or perhaps a faster 28mm if you feel the need. That way, your next lens will add versatility to your outfit.

With a 35 or a 28 on an R-D1, low light capability would be -- for me -- an important consideration. As the 50/1.1 may not be so easy to use hand held at slow shutter speeds, I'll modify what Rob-F said and recommend a 28mm f/2.

So i will say that i sold my 28 mm 1.9 some month ago, cause for wide photography i prefer my 15mm 4.4 ( new one ). So i need definitly a 35 mm lens. I coul sell my skopar for 200 euro, and for 200 euro more, i could buy the 35 nokton s.c. 1.4. I will think about it

What about pushing some Tmax 400/HP5 up to 1600 or just using some Tmax 3200? 😀
Maybe you'd lose some sharpness, but you could probably recover that by going down to f4 with such ISO…
But well, that's probably not what you're looking for anyway…
