Colton and family are safe. They responded to a mandatory evacuation order and are with family in a nearby area. Colton's battle with ALS has made this very hard on him. I talked with a family member yesterday day and was told he is resting but very tired. His home escaped fire damage, but is without power. Talent suffered terrible damage. I don't know when Colton will be able to respond to contacts. Feel free to contact me and I will try and answer questions.

Thanks for the news Gerry. My best wishes to Colton and his family when you are able to get in touch with him. These fires look really terrible. As the country dries out (here, too) firefighters are seeing things never seen before. Early evacuation is the best option, by all accounts.

Thanks for the news Gerry. Glad they are safe. Best wishes for him and his family...

Yes Horatio, it seems we are just going from one disaster to another...

I didn't know Colton and his family were in this situation... it must be so hard to leave your home in a hurry... and worse with Colton's health...

Thank you again Gerry, for bringing us Colton's news and for making arrive him and his family our thoughts, words and desires.

Thanks for the news. I was thinking/wondering about Colton yesterday. I hope breathing isn't a problem for him. Just tell Colton that all of us are happy he is safe and that he still has a house to return to.

Gerry, thank you for the update. Like others, I'm very glad to hear that Colton and his family are safe. I'm sure you are not unaffected either in nearby Medford. I hope you are staying safe as well.

Thanks for letting us know Gerry. If you get a chance, let Colton know we're sending prayers and positive energy his way. Stay safe.

Best,
-Tim

Thanks for letting us knoe Colton and his family are safe in this terrible time with all the fires around.
If possible give him the best wishes.

Very glad he is safe. The fires are terrible, but unfortunately they are likely to be a feature of summer from now on in a range of places that are drying as the world warms.

Marty

Here's hoping your two families stay safe, Gerry, and are able to return home soon. Keep on rolling, Colton.
