Just seeing this, so glad to know you are all safe! Just heard from someone else in Oregon who was old yesterday to be ready to evacuate--ditto outside LA. So hard to comprehend the scale and destruction of these fires.

Good news indeed for Colton.

Driving home from work yesterday, I noticed a uniform haze in the sky. The sun, muffled behind the haze. I said to myself, this can't be the smoke fallout from the wildfires. Indeed it was. Saw a news article this morning verifying. (I'm just outside Boston)

Quite amazing.

Today the air is sort of clear!!!
First day I see the sky in weeks!
Still so thankful my house was never in jeopardy, but I opened a window today!
AQI at "Moderate". We'll take the risk.
