...or snow or freezing rain...i am going out to shoot tomorrow.

after 4 weeks of rest/recovery and 1 week of work (that's 5 weeks of not shooting) i plan on hitting the streets and shooting some b&w film with 2 blazing canons.

i can't wait to strap that mclassic bag over my shoulder and pull that luna pro out, read the light and push down on a shutter button or two.

i'm thinking 50/1.4 cause i will be ending up at the bar with my buds and probably the 35/1.8. and for the hell of it, the 85/2 is going in the bag also.

damn, i feel good!

joe

joe, glad to hear that you are feeling great, but be careful not to over-do. Consider leaving the 85mm at home for your first post-recovery outing.

doing things you like to do are good for mental health. Good mental health will bring better physical health. This all sounds good to me. Even alcohol is known to be beneficial. Remember "moderation in all things" ...... including moderation lol

Have fun Joe. Better yet, give a smile and nod to every attractive woman you see as a way to ask her permission to take her photograph. Even if you don't have film in your camera. You never know what might happen.

Don't push yourself. You could shoot from out of your car (via rolling down the window and parked----outsite a women's health club), a coffee shop and even from a wheelchair. I like the car idea best because you can load it with all your pristine Canon gear.

Especially if she has red hair... (where's the naughty smiley when you need it?)

Joe,

Glad to hear you are well.

While at the bar, don't forget the proven medicinal effects of a good bottle of red wine ;-) Have fun shooting.

Take it easy, but take it. Or don't take it easy, but take it. Take it.
