commerative zorki 4 set?

Hi there,

Is this a genuine "set"? What are the rings for? Any feedback on the seller?

I would think the macro rings are actually for M39 mount SLR cameras? I actually want a set to use as variable focal length pinhole "lenses"--the rings combined with a modified body-cap.

These extension tubes are the"Bonus Gift." I have never seen anyone use them but have seen lots of them for sale-usually wrapped in brown waxed paper. I do, however, own a nifty rangefinder copystand (Soviet Made) where the lens is mounted on a frame and focused on a glass plate mounted on a box which then slides away and the rangefinder body moves into place over the lens.

Says it comes with a black J8 but shows a white J8 which would be the appropriate one for that camera. A lot of the 50th anniversary cameras were made. They are pretty common.

Somehow it seems that macro work with an RF camera, Russian or otherwise, would be rather tricky. That's where SLRs have the advantage. Of course, Leica had the Visoflex.

Whether commemorative or not, I see various editions of Zorkis on e-bay. One thing that would be interesting is to collect a set of bodies in various colors - undoubtedly "re-skinnings", but red, blue, green, gold, etc. would make an eye-catching shelf full.
