Compact Super Wide Angle

Michael: the only issue with the plastic VF on my IIIf is that it makes the it a little difficult to work the speed dial. I use the metal VF because it is a bit taller and out of the way. It looks better, too.

However, I prefer the view through the plastic VF, which creates a bit of a paradox.

How's about something like this? OK so the finder is a bit obtrusive but it is great to use. 21mm CV

Yup this is what I have in mind 🙂

I was wondering; noticed the greater clearance in your photo. I didn't know the c have a different dial. I'd be happy with that VF.

A state of the art 21mm machine!

The first 21 Super-Angulon (f4 version) is both screw and M mount. (It has a screw-M adapter with a locking screw). It's about the same size as the Skopar, I think.

This was the original 21 SA They were all made in screw mount and Leica installed M mounts for those cameras. They weren't meant to be changeable.

There seems to be a small group of persons who remove the M mount and sell them as ltm lenses for higher $$$. If you have the opportunity to get an ltm version, make sure there are no indents in the mounting threads from set screws.
