Seems like Leica is under fire from new M8 users.
Speaking of which, I just recently sold all my digital gear,
and came back to film world!
Perhaps all I could say is this:
There is no short-cut to quality.
Film is always film,
Rich in tone, powerful in color rendering,
more dynamic in range,
gains to give that timeless appeal,
time required to develop film that discipline exposure.
Photography is about turning fleeting moments into timeless eternity.
Rangefinders with BW film is most apt at that.
A knife for a kitchen wife,
a katana for a samurai.
