While digging through some of my darkroom equipment I came across a Paterson contact printing holder. This is the one where you place a sheet of printing paper then the negatives on top then close the glass cover. The foam has gone bad so I was wondering where I might find some new foam so I can start using it again..

I think you can buy sheet of it on ebay.
For contact printing, I just use a big sheet of 5mm glass.

If you've had anything delivered in bubble wrap, you'll find that the stuff with 1/4" bubbles is just about the correct thickness to replace the foam in the Paterson contact printers; I've just checked it against both the 35mm and 6x6 versions. Put the smooth side up and it should work quite well.

Check with Paterson. They're amazing on spares.
