Contax 28 on R2 ?

Does the Contax 28mm Biogon fit the Bessa R2 or Leica M cameras?

I don't think Zeiss ever made any other 28mm Biogon for the Contax.

The currently available Zeiss ZM 28mm Biogon would be both more satisfactory and less expensive, considering the cost of conversion, a permanent modification of the G lens. I have the G system lenses and they're lovely performers, but just consider that Zeiss has had the opportunity to make further improvements for the newer M-mount series.
