I did a comparison of the Biogon with the Nikkor 2.1cm f4. Results were similar and not important for my needs.

I look forward to seeing them.Yes, applying modern expectations for system ergonomics overall to the Contax rangefinder system in general, much less one specific lens; well, that’s why there aren’t more users in addition to there being a relatively small number of 21mm f4.5’s ever produced, much less still available to choose from today.
In the next couple of weeks I plan on doing a dual-system shoot that’ll last a few days, carrying the IIa and 21mm f4.5 and s Leica M4 with 21mm f3.4 Super Angulon, both loaded with FP4 Plus.
I enjoy both systems for what they are.

This lens probably hasn't sold as well as its f2.8 counterpart because it doesn't play so well on digital sensors. Which is a shame, because it looks capable of superb images.

Well that's fine with me because if digital users wanted it, the price would rocket.
