Contax Drama

People often post pictures of celebrities with cameras and leica sightings in movies on RFF, but I just saw a TV drama on Japanese TV where a Contax IIa actually played a substantial part as the camera that dad loved and showed how he captured all these memories to leave his family after he died. A pretty cool tear jerker, I'm sure RFF'ers would have liked this show. Cant for the the life of me find the name of the drama but ....

No thankfully no real life drama. It was on NHK 1 at say 2 or 2:30 on Monday Sept. 29 I can't seem to find it on the NHK Japanese site and I'm too cheap to go buy an English newspaper,

Jon, maybe with your superior Japanese skills you can find something on this? It was one of those warm human dramas that used to be popular here.

Here's today's TV guide on the NHK website. Looks like there was a drama on NHK 1 from 1.00pm to 2.20pm about an elderly couple's daring shopping adventure from Fukushima to Tokyo. Sound familiar?
