Anyone of you have used this adapter in conjunction with the Contax SLR lenses? (i believe they are the C/Y lenses)
What did you think of it? How does the camera handle?
How is the quality of prints like?
And how much does such an adapter cost??

I own one and bought it on eBay for ~$150 (I think). I've used it on my 50 1.7 and my 85 2.8. A couple on months ago I posted on this website the results (I just can't figure out how to retrieve the posting....it'll be under my name). The results were quite good. I was expecting the G lenses to have a definite edge but I found that the 50 did quite well. (I'd still give the G lenses the edge on everything except for distance shots.) For me, I have it to experiment with (I don't feel I need to use it that often) but I think that somedat one of my G2 lenses with get dropped and I'll have a very good optic backup. Please review my posting and ask more questions if I haven't covered them. I'd love to try it with the 60 Makro.

HD,
I just went through your pictures! Just oustanding work! The wedding album is one of the best pieces that I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing. What cameras did you use to do the weddings?

Now I'm curious: how does focusing, metering and finder selection with this adapter work?

Philipp, metering is through the lens, the cameras rangefinder works but one has to read the distance in the window on the left an set the lens manualy. No focus confirmation of cause. I don't know about finder selection, paralax is corrected for some lenses.
All from what I remember from the manual, I have never tried it

the focal lenght has to be selected manually on the adapter for 28,35,50,60 or 85mm

Jaap is correct......focal length is manually set for the lenses that Jaap defined. It works pretty easily for stationary shot where youhave the time to set up the shot, use the G2 to determine focal length, and then manually dial it in on the lens. As noted, the quality of the shot is pretty good (love Zeiss lenses).
