Contax G-Nex AF info

I've gathered some info about the G-NEX AF adapter coming from MX camera. They said it should be released on the 4th week of February and that it should have a manual override, something that we don't see in the adapter shot.

2 seconds fresh focus, about 1 second for recompose....acceptable, no? What do you guys think? Am I the only one exited about this?

The devil is in the details. I've got three G lenses, so would love to see this. The lenses are great and my G2 is drop dead gorgeous. So much so that I haven't been able to part with it despite the infrequent use. I think that the G autofocus hunted for electronic rangefinder alignment. I might be wrong on this, but if so, CAF should provide similar control of the focusing motors. Not fast, so the only thing left is to hope that focus endpoint is reliable.

Now, the practical side of me tells me that I've M-Hex lenses of similar quality and manual focus is fast and reliable on the NEX-7/6.
