the condition is written Ex, there is another one Ln too, little higher price.
this lens is going for very high on ebay, not 170-220!
I think m4/3 increased its prices as everybody says.

I still see alot of them priced reasonably in new condition on Ebay.

I find KEH is usually conservative in their grading system ... much better than fleaBay. I have bought items in "BGN" from KEH that have been in better condition than "MINT" items on eBay.
If anyone's interested I will be posting a G1 body for sale on RFF this weekend.

You got to be careful with KEH. What's the condition? LN, EX, UG(ly)? That lens on ebay in mint condition sells in auction listing for $170-220 US. You can ask the seller to ship it First Class if that takes care of customs.
I buy UG condition lenses from KEH occasionally. They are quite useable. BGN will be worn cosmetically but with good glass and perfect mechanics. I've never had a reason to "be careful" with KEH.

The 28, 45 and 90 are all excellent lenses, but the 21 Biogon is the screaming performance bargain of the lineup, I think. That's got to be one of the best 21's ever made.

Yes. is there some hood that works with it? I saw one selling on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360278013473&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:ITThe 28, 45 and 90 are all excellent lenses, but the 21 Biogon is the screaming performance bargain of the lineup, I think. but it seems kind of too deep. I'm afraid it would cut into the corners of the image.

I believe there is a dedicated hood that goes with that lens, so I'm sure it's fine.

There are several G1 bodies on ebay for reasonable prices.
I may get a G2 instead. We'll see.
Myself, I had many cameras going through my hands (Ok, not the G1). About two weeks ago I grabbed the Contax G2 again for a little session. IT IS JUST THE BEST 35mm FILM CAMERA EVER BUILT ! Really, if I have to choose one 35mm camera it´ll be the Contax G2. And at the end of the day all you need is one camera and a good 28, 45 and 90 that´s it... I will start to think about that again.

Yashi,
I was just thinking the same; if I had another G1 or a G2 to go with my G1 and 28-45-90 combo, it would be for me a near perfect travel set. The sharpness and colors and contrast and bokeh, all look good to me.

Well well well, after this tread, everybody jumped on the 90mm sonnars and finished them on KEH before I solve that shipping problem!!
But now finally I found it on B&H and with shipping UPS Expedited...total of 177$. Isnt it nice? Hopefully, there will be no additional charge except the taxes according to other people's experiences...

show us some photos with it when you have a chance, that 90 is a beautiful lens.. my first couple rolls through my new m6, 35 skopar, and summicron 50 are terrible (sorry it's just that I traded a g2 kit for it). I got a couple nice ones in two rolls, definitely a different beast than the g2 I'd been primarily shooting with for 5 years... I'm soft apparently, time to toughen up.

I agree with you, John.
I may want to get another G1 or G2 body as back-up for travel.
I am thinking of my cairo trip next year.
Give me an email, mine is in the box, but a few marks, I may ask for a few prints to sweeten the deal though, and I just might show up with a sleeping bag in Florida. ;-)
Actually, you are welcome to visit in Mexico, I normally have a suite (lots of finagling to get it) and you cannot swing a humanely dispatched cat without seeing photos, and two photographers find more than one for sure.
I have two siblings who have places in Florida, so can crash there.
I don't recommend Cleveland in the Winter though.

I paid $200+ each for two, one for Zu and one for me. ;-)
No regrets, some of my favorite images.

I got mine from B&H (90mm) today. I had to pay 20$ tax. So the total I paid was 197$, not bad! The lens is perfect except a deep but small scratch on the barrel. No so visible though as it is on the focus ring.
