Hello,
I've used Efke 820c infrared film in my Pentax 67 with no problems and now want to give the 35mm version a go in my Contax G2 if possible. Has anyone used this before? any fogging with IR sensors etc? Also, my Pentax has an IR focussin g mark on the lens, any idea how the Contax G autofocus copes here?
Cheers,
Gavin

The G2 has 2 issues with infrared, the first being the window in the back and the second the IR frame counter.
The first is easily fixed with black tape but the second may pose a problem. You will have some fogging on your film but outside the frames, hopefully
AF will not adjust for IR, so you'll have to focus manually, it's probably better to rely on more DoF with a stopped down lens.

nobody special
I shot a lot of HIE in my G2, never did anything special, and never had any problems. Any fogging will be on the film edges and far outside the image area. No need to adjust for the minor difference in IR focus if you are using a normal lens at f8 or smaller.
