Contax G2 Loose "Top Window"

Hi all --

I just acquired a used G2 and the top window which measures distance, etc., seems to be a bit "loose." In other words, I can wiggle it a bit and depress it... All others seem really tight. Any others experience this???

I bought one last November and that piece is slightly loose on mine as well, but doesn't at all affect functionality. What's more annoying is the focus selector dial on the back of mine is extremely loose, yet nothing a little duct tape can't fix.

Thanks for the reply... It's not that I'll care at all in a few days. It was just noticeable when I ran my thumb over it the first time, and "deflated" me a little. Especially because the rest of it seems to top notch, and now I'm tempted to press the window in over and over again! hehehe... Oh man...

ps. Can't wait til the lenses arrive tomorrow!!! I've sold my Leica MP and Summicron for a G1, G2, 21, 28, 45, 90 and a few hundred bucks to spare!!! It's gonna be a good summer!
