Hello, all!
I have a 1936 contax II in its original leather case.
Due to 3 generations opening and closing the case, it is starting to break along the folding line. I would like to restore it before it gets worse, but have no experience on how to do it. Any previous experience or idea?
Thanks
Ernesto

Hi, I think that you can sew a very thin piece of leather, preferably of same colour as the original, sewn from the back of the damaged area.
Other solution is to sew a thin fabric piece the same way, it is from the back of the folding marks.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
