Contax IIa with CZJ 50 f2

Beautiful shot Frank. Hope to get results like that with my new m4p.

Can we assume that Joe has completely disregarded his new years resolution #2 and graciously taken your IIa off your hand???:D:D

If you have a Kiev ERC it is usable with a CONTAX IIa or IIIa the late black leather IIIIam case is preferred as the snout is bigger and the smell slightly better. It is cheap even if you buy it with a body and lens.

Joe, congrats on the new camera. Let us know how you like it, and post some pictures when you get time. Using a Scherer-overhauled Contax is a real treat.
 
those of you who have been around for awhile might remember my saying that eventually i would have a contax and a 50 to go on it.
you might also remember my having a kiev for a brief time.
i liked it too much and thought it might poison me for the canon p's i was using at the time. i sold it to g'man.

but i found it hard to pass this h.s. cla'd camera. if i were to ever get a 'good' contax without worries at a good price this seemed like the one.

it will be my camera to meander with on a weekend afternoon, handheld meter in one pocket and extra roll of film in the other.

thanks for the extra pics frank, it looks gorgeous.

suggest delete roll insert rolls

note you still have rule 2 & 3 the IIa wont help either of these, even if it does not have a lever or winder.

* concentrate on improving my photos more and my kit less.
* to process my film before it gets out of hand.
 
Frank - why did you sell? I'm #81 on Henry's list - so my camera should be here in about 2 years. I just wish that I'd seen your classified ad first!

i'm ok now, this was a once in a life time buy and i also now don't need the zm sonnar.
this was a cheaper way to go sonnar.
