Contax T2 flash

I know it is not a rangefinder, but I wonder if somebody here can still help me assess what is the black spot (looks like a burnt area) which appears on the inside of the flash chamber of my Contax T2. The flash seems to be working still but I wonder what is the cause of this black spot and if it is something which could lead to problems and should be fixed.

Looks like a fly got in there.😀

It doesn't look good. I'd send a pic to a tech and see what's involved in the repair. TOCAD is the official Contax repair in the US.

Thanks, does anybody know if Contax still has a repair service centre in Japan? I am based in the Philippines and it would be easier to send it there than to the US.
