Contax T2, strange metal flap...

I just recived a Contax T2 and one weird thing I noticed is the metal "flap" inside of the camera... Check the picture and tell me if it looks normal.

not normal. period. I have had 3 and don't recall anything like that in the camera.

Hi, just finished the roll and... good news - the metal flap looks like it belongs there like that. I'm not sure I understand the function it serves (not about to start digging into my T2) but it's positioning seems normal. The flap does retract (goes up) slightly for the duration of time the shutter is released, so... nothing to worry about. Enjoy your T2!
