Contax to LTM

There are no adapters that make this switch. It's easy to get a Contax mount lens in an M39 camera because the M39 is wider and so the lens will fit inside. No way to do the reverse and stick an M39 on a Contax without permanently butchering the Contax camera body. But lenses for Contax are usually less expensive than their Leica counterparts, especially the 50mm offerings since they don't have a focusing helicoid, so enjoy!
I could be mistaken and may be reading your post wrong though. Do you want to put the CZ 5cm f/1.5 on an M39 camera? If so the only way is an adapter like the Amedeo. I've had two of them and they are amazing. Don't waste your money on any other adapter, they just aren't good enough.
Remember you can also shoot the Russian Kiev mount perfectly and the Nikon mount wides with no problems. The Jupiters are all good lenses as long as you get a mechanically solid sample with good lens element centering. The Helios-103 is a great lens as well and for the price there's no reason not to have one.

Do you mean fit Contax lenses to a Leica? If you mean fitting a Leica lens on a Contax body, then you're probably talking major engineering, because of the way the standard and wide angle lenses are expected to use the built in focusing mechanism, a trick Zeiss repeated with the Contarex series.

up to and including 50mm contax rf lenses do not have focusing ability. so to use on m39 camera an expensive adapter with focusing ability is essential. contax tele lenses above 50mm have focusing ability, so cheap adapters can be used to mount them on m39. hope that helps.

NO-no, I have a contact lens, a 5cm 1:1,5 lens . I want to use it on my Canon P or my Bessa R. Having some tools I want to get parts.

Your question was very clear.
Amedeo sells an adapter for around $250+. i am not sure how good cheaper adapters are. There are inexpensive afapters on ebay.

Thank you all. Had been hoping to gain another 5cm 1:1,5 lens through some DIYS work. I have a CZJ, a J-3 --like-em both. The Contax convertion sounds a bit expencive for my wallet. Anyway Brian Sweeney I'm not!

I'm sure you are mistaken slightly because my 35mm postwar Biogon has its own focussing helical.
