contemporary fixed-lens RFs?

Duchan,

There are not any fixed-lens rangefinders currently being produced that I am aware of. There are a couple of interesting point-n-shoots, but no rangefinders with fixed lenses.

The most recently manufactured fixed-lens RF that I can recall was the Yasuhara T012, still available at Lomo Shop:

Price is $600 USD, seems a bit steep. And Yasuhara is long out of business, despite being 'discovered' every couple of months by new RFF readers who think he is still a going concern.

Are the CM and Minilux actually rangefinders? I was under the impression that they were autofocus P&S cameras.

Henri Cartier-Bresson liked the Minilux. But what did he know?

I didn't say it wasn't a good camera. I said it was not a rangefinder. Which was the question asked. That's all I'm saying.

I didn't say it wasn't available, I said it was no longer made. The question was if there is a currently-made fixed-lens rangefinder. The answer is 'no'. Simple stuff.

NOTE: Actually, I should amend that - 'no' to the best extent of my knowledge. I am prepared to stand corrected. But the Yashihara is no longer made, and the Minilux is not a rangefinder. Next?
