Contests

First I'd read the rules and regulations pretty damn well. Then I'd try to find out what kind of shots were the winners in the previous years. Then I'd make a choice for the category to participate in. And only then I'd go hunt for a shot, either in my archive or out on the street.

There r no rules 😀

I guess trying to find out what kinda shots were taken to this contest before is a great idea, now here's something to start with...

The hardest thing will be choosing a shot! Maybe seeing other winners photos will help..

Thx RML.

It sure will. Every contest has judges and these have their own preferences and biases. Seeing what won before can give you an insight in these preferences and biases.

BTW, IMO most contests are lousy, favouring bland everyday colourful shots over the more borderline/avant garde work. Sunsets often do well, and who cares for those, right? 🙂

Well, it's 500$ better than nothing, i can buy a thing or two with this sum 😀
that's worse than nothing because that will lead you to GAS, and you may end up spending more than that 500 dollars 😀
