Convert Fujica 35SE f2.8 to f1.9?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but can the 35-SE f2.8 lens be switched with the f1.9 lens from the 35-EE? The front elements do fit. I haven't tried the rear lenses yet. But if they also fit will I end up with a working 35-SE f1.9? I can't believe it's that simple, so it probably isn't. Many thanks.
 
Can the aperture be readjusted? If not, the modified camera would be f/2.8 as well (it would need a wider aperture for f/1.9), even if the cells fit and have the same spacing.
