Has anybody or do you know anybody who has converted the Minolta angle finder V to work on a M-series Leica?

Any information on doing such a conversion?

When I hold it to the rear viewfinder of my M3 I can see the whole view which would make closeup work easier.

It couldn't be too hard to modify it to either screw onto the eyepiece or snap over it or slide behind it. I've been looking for a decent low angle solution for my M2 for ages and have thought of similar options but I'm just not good enough with my hands (only good for holding cameras and pushing buttons).

Leica's angle finder M is simply too expensive and you can only see the 90mm framelines. The Nikon reflex viewfinders work great on my Epson R-D1 but obviously there are no generic versions of Leica's unique eyepiece thread size... I've stuffed around with prisms and DIY jobbies but nothing really works as well...

Would be curious to hear whether you found what you were looking for.
