Convince me to upgrade Light Room (XPro1 User)

I recently switched over to shooting RAW files with my X pro 1 and have been enjoying the 'development' process using Lightroom 4.4RC (downloaded free of charge of course 🙄). Mostly I use VSCO film presets and other techniques to achieve the look i want.

Here is my inquiry, for some one who is not peeping the pixels or making large prints, is Lightroom 4.4RC good enough? Should I upgrade? Why or why not?

You will have to upgrade to the released version of 4.4 when 4.4RC stops working. Others using Fuji Xtrans sensor cameras seem to feel 4.4 is a good thing.

Lightroom 4.4 is the finished version of 4.4RC, so yes, it's a good idea to move over to 4.4 from the RC version — less bugs for one reason. I bought the latest plated version of Aperture 3 to see how it compares to LR4 and I'd say LR4 is the better software, just, although that could just be my lack of experience with Aperture.

Lightroom 4.4 is so passé! Adobe recently released the beta for Lightroom 5, may as well try it out while it is free!

4.4 isn't bad, its not great, but its not bad. I use it in preference to Silky because its a lot easier to use and, for what I do, I can't see a great deal of difference in the finished picture.

I have been using the LR 5 Beta recently and that is similarly not bad, for the XP1 at least, I will upgrade to it when the finished version is released.

I use a couple of other camera makes for my work and LR is spot on for the RAW files produced by those cameras, so I cling to LR in the hope that Adobe will eventually get the X Trans process right.
