I don't know if you've seen it, but this cool piece shows that tons of manual labor go into the X-Pro, the X-T1, and the X100T. This article also makes the claim that Fuji is the only company that is a fully vertically integrated lens maker.
One thing that is for sure is that this does not look like a typical assembly-line style facility. It looks like something from the space program.
Also, it reminds you of how modern digital cameras have a metal chassis, but it is actually the exterior of the camera, not an inner "frame."

The way they mount components to an outer body is not unlike the way that cars went from body-on-frame to unibody. Older DSLRs kept the traditional frames of their forebears; not sure if that is still the case with the new ones. Certainly all smaller cameras are now built like this.

Interesting. I'm a bit surprised that many people do have their hair uncovered (at times long hair) and not worried that it would get into some internals of the camera. Looks like they do better at the lens assembly part.

Well, if dust gets on the sensor, which is an operational annoyance, it is accessible through the lens mount. The finder is pretty much a sealed unit. Lenses are done in a clean room. Aside from that, any remaining dust is inconsequential.
