Has anyone tried Corner Fix on the 21 Zeiss C using the M9?

I understand the new Leica firmware makes the 21 Skopar usable on the M9 but what about the Zeiss 21C? Weighing my options for color.

Thanks in advance.

Tom,

I used it a bit with the GXR and also the M8. I find it really helps in the corners. On the GXR I had some cyan vignette problems out in the sides of my image.

The big "gotcha" with Cornerfix is getting a really clean profile. Many people will tell you to find a white wall or shoot through something -- The easiest thing for me to do was to put a flash in front of the lens, about 4 feet away and fire it straight into the lens.

Thanks for your advice! But I'm looking to see if anyone has had a good experience on a M9. Mostly, I'm trying to decide if this lens is worth twice as much as a CV 21 which I've heard works 90% of the time on the M9. I'm willing to go the Corner Fix route - if it works.

I had the 21/2.8 Biogon before and, while my copy had some problems, I'm considering giving Zeiss a second chance.

The ZM 21mm f/2.8 is fully sorted now, it even has a groove machined into the mount so you can code it and forget Cornerfix, no red edge with the M9.

I've also got the CV 21mm Skopar and mine at least still needs Cornerfix even though it is coded, so that doesn't get used much. Haven't tried the ZM C Biogon but its still bad with the new firmware by reports I have read.
