Hot off the press:

Cosina has today announced a Voigtländer branded adapter to connect M-mount lenses with Micro Four Thirds camera bodies. The VM Micro Four Thirds adapter only provides a mechanical connection (no electronic data transfer) for lenses from Leica, Carl Zeiss and Voigtländer. It can also be used in conjunction with the company's M/L adapter to allow the use of Voigtländer L lenses.

Yes indeedy. All we need are more micro 4/3 cameras!

Yes, but I don't understand what is taking Olympus so long to launch theirs!!

In the meantime I picked up a small daylight digital snapshooter, a NIB Sigma DP1 for 256 Euro, dumped in anticipation of the coming DP2.

Had Oly given me a product 1 month ago I probably would not have done this, but now it's too late. I have mentally given up on M43 and will wait for the Samsung offering to possibly retrofit my existing M-mount (and Canon FD) lenses.

Sorry, Voigtländer.

I have the Voigtlander Micro 4/3rds adapter and have been shooting my way through my lenses that could be made to fit.
The 2x focal length "conversion' takes some getting used to - but then it will give you a 100mm f1.4 Asph with extreme close up possibilities with the Summilux 50f1.4 ASPH!
You need something like the VC Heliar 12mm f5.6 for wide (or go to the "regular" Lumix offerings).
One added bonus with the G1/M-adapter is that you can mount it on a Viso III and use it for extreme close up (or Viso mount lenses) and have a "live" view of what you are shooting on the screen!
Just put about 150 shots on Flickr - and there is even a "Lumix G1 with M adapter" site for more stuff.
