Cost of Zeiss Ikon ZM repair

Hello, all. =) I recently sent in my Zeiss Ikon after having it drop twice. One time caused the shutter release to become slightly stiffer than usual and another caused physical superficial (but ugly) damage to the top cover. Upon its return I was not given a breakdown of the cost of the repair which was a total of about $500. The top cover was exchanged (now I have a new serial number), shutter adjusted, and rangefinder fine tuned according to the factory's report. The second drop causing superficial damage to the top plate was done by someone borrowing my camera and he would like to pay for that damage. Does anyone know how much a rangefinder fine tuning and shutter adjustment would typically cost through Zeiss? Thank you.

I believe Zeiss Camera USA charged me US $170 once upon a time, and they 'upgraded' the finder at the same time, but that's been two years ago or so.

If you haven't already asked, I suggest you write to Zeiss, thank them for the wonderful service, and ask them how to break down the cost of the repair so that your friend pays a fair amount.
