beautiful clicks. Love that backlit glow in the branches in #1.
Of course, any day, any season, is beautiful in the Cotswold.

We dearly love Broadway, visit fairly often (considering it's a long walk from Texas)

Thanks for the responses, somehow the forum chopped off the "ze" off the end of the title, should be "Cotswold Deep Freeze".

Personally I'v always preffered a really heavy frost to snow when it comes to landscape shooting, keeps more of the detail of the landscape whilst still giving a similar advantages plus tends to extend more into the trees.

Something I get quite a lot around here as I'm in a valley at the edge of the Cotswold escarpment meaning you get quite strong temperature invensions

This winter has been mostly rain, but that changed on Monday. This morning there was 8"/20.3cm of powder, and it was 13F/-11C. A couple more inches to come tomorrow, with an arctic blast to follow. There just hasn't been much frost.
