Could this lens hood cause vignetting?

Just got this for my camera, but unlike my digital camera which I can see if it does. Won't know until I use it.

Just curious if some might know better.

On my Panasonic LX3 with 46-52mm extention tube and UV filter. Extended hood causes vignetting (zooming out a touch removes it). With filter removed and no zoom. Tiny spot in the corners.

My Rokkor 40mm also has a filter and rubber hood ring is deep (although lens, ring and hood no longer than LX3 extention tube only)

Some pictures to see if the inner metal hood ring might cause any problems due to the depth

it looks like it would IMO. i used to own Cron-C 40 and had the Elmar-C 90 hood. your hood looks similar size to it. why dont you check by placing a piece of tracing paper on film gate - as ground glass to check whether it vignettes?
