Saturday I covered the start of the "Festival of India" in Toronto.
My buddy brought his M4-P, Trix-X.
I was loaded with 2 P/S Digital cameras, spare AA cells, memory card.
Friend shot 3 rolls., I exposed about 275 frames..
I love using film and "being careful".
I wanted to capture the folks of Hari Krishna and their emotions..
You don't get it with one careful frame..
Even HCB shot a series..
You work a situation, moving closer or farther away as needed.
Each exposure is another moment in time, gone forever.
One needs many exposures as I weave in and out.
I simply could not afford to shoot film that way*, being of fixed income.
The P/S do well, as I am not able to carry heavy rigs..
Toronto is in a Heat wave with severe Heat warnings..
My health is now of greater concern than dragging my old rigs..
If I had, had digital when i covered such events in past, would have jumped at using it!
I like the set by OP.
I wanted closer of people involved in a Shared Belief.

*Yes! I used film in the past, in a orderly manner BUT exposed frames as i needed.
