Bob, great shots. How long ago were you in Cuba? I seem to remember that somebody on RFF, I think it was you, posted something about a church-sponsored Cuba junket last year. I my memory failing me or was that you? Apart from these great images, how was the trip?

Rob: I was there for 2 weeks in late 2009 as part of a humanitarian group, then for 2 weeks in March of this year on a family visit. I am leaving this coming Friday (6/18/10) for 12 days on another family visit. There are multiple flights every day from Miami direct to Havana for those with a US visa. Cuba has no entry restrictions.
There is a long rambling write up at http://bobmichaels.org/ that I did mostly after my first visit with a minor update after the second. Basically the people are incredibly friendly, there are no problems for US visitors, and Cuba has no money.
