Crazy FED 1 !?

I think absinthe may have had an effect.

A nice camera yes, and someone has put a lot of time into it but the price? Surely not. Unless I am missing something this is not a very rare camera.

Or filled-in with black ink. The internal parts look buffed to a faretheewell. Looks like the guy wants to be compensated for his time taking the camera apart and converting it into a $100 camera into a $30 camera.

No, it's nothing special except somebody gave it a CLA and polished it. He admits it's made from two bodies, which makes it less collectible. Asking 1/10 of that price might be just about reasonable. He's just dreaming or maybe he's showing it off and doesn't really want it to sell! Either way, if it sells for that I'll polish mine and put it up for the same price! Mine has new curtains and a new RF mirror too, which that one hasn't!
