I found a nice Zeiss Cocarette folder this weekend
at the flea market that sported a rather high end
Compur shutter and a Tessar 105/4.5, a favorite of mine.
I brought it home and began Googling everything I could find about the camera.
It has a different type of film loading method that has
a film cartridge that you load with film and insert the cartridge from the bottom. The back doesn't swing out.
Instead a circular thingy can be removed to service the lens from the back, leaving a round opening.

Anyway, as I was digging around I ran into this lens hack, and realizing I had an extension tube, was able to confirm that it really does work as he advertizes.

Though I can't say for sure what it might be good for,
it is kind of interesting. Check out his ebay listing.

See what he did? He glued an 11mm Canon Macro extension tube onto the back of the folder, so now he can attach his DSLR to it and shoot manual focus with it. It works too. :)
