Wayne:
great shot, I like the dramatic sky and the thunderlighting is so powerful. Good colours indeed. I'm in a "pano period" so I can only suggest to crop it to the pano format and see what happens
Silva Lining:
The title fits the shot and the mood is the one I feel when I look at the photo. I like the tones and the composition; it seems to me (don't know if it's for my monitor) to be grainy but I like this effect. The only suggestion I may have is the same of the comment above, so I'd like to see this in a "pano" format cropping a little bit more the sand and the sky.
Warren,
I like woods but - usually - I don't like this kind of shots. Not in this case because the eye, runnig along the path, get the lady in the red coat.
I also like the contrast between her red dress and the green of the trees. Maybe she's a little bit too far, so I'd rather to see her nearer ("nearer" is it correct in english?)
Shutterflower:
i like it, the shadows of the clouds on the mountains in the background make the shot. i love the colours and the composition.
The only thing I would like to try is to crop the shot in order to have the horizon line in the lower third of the photo (with that dramatic sky it should work).

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay
.
Wayne:
Wow, great capture of the intensity and fury of a lightning stike. I like how the headlight steak frames the bright part of the image (clouds and lightning). It's very well exposed too.
I wouldn't change anything here.
Silva Lining
This shot has an different quality to it. It's dreamy and surreal. It has a "light" feeling to it with delicate details. Very nice!
I'm not sure what happened, but there seems to be some ghosting around the two land masses on the left of the image. It's a little disturbing to the eye.
Nico
You captured some classic colors and landscape patterns here. What a lovely scene
.
The dust spots are a bit distracting though. Also, IMO, this works better for me as a horizontal. There seems to be too much black area on the bottom, and just a bit too much sky on top.
Shutterflower
A nice pattern of clouds and shadows on the hills. Interestingly, the tilted horizon give me a sense of motion
I'm not sure if you intended that, but that's how I felt.
The colors seem just a bit flat, but maybe that's my monitor's problem. Also, I'm not sure why, but the hills in the background seem to be oversharpened which makes them appear to a but unreal. Was this a digital image?
