Hello, i´m rather new in this forum, think´s great.
Since m8 has 1.33 sensor crop,
Are the framelines adjusted for this crop?
Does 50 mm lens displays 66.5 mm (owe) framelines?
I´ve been unable to find this, perhaps it´s too basic but i cannot figure it out!
Thanks
E

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Yes, the M8/M8.2 frame lines take the sensor crop factor into account. Using the 50 example: the frame lines show (more or less) what will be exposed to the sensor when a 50mm lens is attached.
Best,

How else could it be? The only difference between the M8 and the M8.2 (M8u) is the distance at which the lines are accurate ( 0.7 m vs 2 m)

The answer is yes, the framelines in the M8 are designed to show the field of view of the lens considering the crop.
