So I actually got a roll of expired Ektachrome 100S cross-processed at my local CVS. Our conversation was basically as follows:

kid behind the counter: "This is E-6. We have to send it out."
Me: "Nah. Just process it like normal."
kid behind the counter: "It's gonna be messed up."
Me: "Nah. It'll make the colors go crazy. It's called cross processing."
kid behind the counter: "I think they can do this at Ritz."
Me: "You guys got C-41 chemicals, right?"
kid behind the counter: "Yeah."
Me: "Okay, let's do it."
kid behind the counter: "I won't be responsible if nothing comes out."
Me: "That's fine."

All in all, it was a amusing experience. The E100S has quite a green tint to it. I scanned these in with the Dimage SDIV with vuescan.
I wish I could go back and show the kid the pics that "didn't come out."

Pretty cool. I had a roll of Astia cross processed with some pretty cool results once, but my local place won't do it so I had to send it out, and it gets expensive.

I asked them to, but she said they couldn't because it would 'mess up their chemicals'... but I hate dealing with customers who argue back, so I just said alright and sent it off.
