It still sells for at least 2500 USD down where I live. Complete with box and papers that is.

For a ancient relic it's amazing how much it sells for

SteveH - called in to a local shop, the only one that had an x-pro 1 to try...
Bought it there and then. Also had a play with the x100, I can understand having both. The x100 is a lovely bit of kit, that view finder is really nice.
I got the 18 and the 35, maybe next month I will gather the money together for the 60
Now I really do have to rationalize my collection of cameras!

Bloody hell, that's the second RFFer to have bought an X-Pro-1 after reading my ramblings - hope you like it after all that - good luck!

Dont feel to worried SteveH - I had been faffing about for a while. Then I did an inventory - I dont have any "Great" M glass, a load of cheap 2nd hand stuff and some CV wides.
I didnt relish the prospect of IR filters, and the high ISO will be handy. I will try out one of the M adapters on the XP1, if it works for then great, if it doesnt then I still have the M5 that I will still use. Im getting rid of my DSLR gear nd some other stuff I hardly ever use so wont be to far out of pocket.. Im sure I will love the camera, the battery has just finished charging and Im off for a walk in the evening light.
