Current UK flight regulations

I always keep a photo vest at the top of my check in luggage, in case they weigh my carry on kata backpack. If they complain, out comes the slr, on goes the biggest lens, all other lenses and contents into the vest and they can then weigh the empty bag :)
Then don't leave the counter until you have refilled the bag ;)

You won't get any liquids onto a plane now, have to surrender everything, even water. Which you can then buy at inflated prices in duty free...
Oh yes, there's always a chemists in UK duty free...:bang:

If the bag looks small enough and you aren't huffing and puffing, they shouldn't weigh it...

If you carry on luggage is a pilots style briefcase, you can stuff you camera bag in that, if you remember to leave space.

After security inspection you can buy (most) film(s) in the duty free lounge, you need to develop before you fly back, to avoid the x rays.

P.S I only took a OM4 and a Zorki1
