Current value of a ZI (Cosina) body?

Would anyone know what's a realistic asking price for a silver Zeiss Ikon 35mm body -- the modern Cosina version? Offerings on eBay are all over the place, with a median of perhaps $1500. I ask because my ZI has pretty much become an art object, as I'm using medium format for film stuff. But I wouldn't part with it unless it made financial sense.

Checking eBay, they’re going for $1700-1900. I’d pay $2000 if it was like new.

A few years back they were going for $800, now it seems to be $1500+ for like new condition.

Check sold listings on eBay. Current offers are absolutely no indicator for prices people actually pay.
