The best camera is one that still works!
Some of this guy's settings for other camera functions don't mean much to me but his custom settings for the AF system of a D3s made quite a difference to my D700. I used the camera last weekend at a classic MX event and was very impressed with the results ... it was definitely an improvement over the default settings or anything you'll find recommended in the very lengthy manual that comes with a modern Nikon DSLR.
