Hi,
I just bought the kit from Kully (ehm ... i still have to pay ...) and developed my first roll ( a cheap colour one). I'd like to know your opinion about the kit, the pics and any kind of suggestion you may have about this combo and its use. Feel free to post here your pics for comparison or example.
Many thanks.
Bye
Nico

Nico - your images look great. I for one shoot very little wide stuff so the "L" was not viable for me. I went with a "T". But the quality of your first pictures is wonderful. Good luck with the "L" and the CV21.

Yeap, looks great to me too.

I've noticed that I have to avoid direct sun or spot light in the frame otherwise conducting to some flare (and mine is equipped with the square shade).

I've learnt also to respect the vertical plane (with the VC bubble level) otherwise the perspective are really too exagerated, and also to avoid to frame somebody's face on the edge.

Otherwise, it's a great combo (I did some great family interior shoot with it).

Sometimes, it also vignettes quite a bit, but not every times... and the result may be good for landscapes.

Great pics. Amazing how those VL lenses seem to pull in the color & paint the canvas of the film [know matter what color film u use] Plus, to this ol novice, your pics don't really look like they were taking with a wide angle lens because the dog and the man are so close, clean,& sharp, then the background has such mystery of shape about it,you can see this was no normal lens.Thats what I love about the capability of these lenses. That's one reason why I got a L and now i"m just waiting to get my lens...enjoy!

Thank you all guys,
I think - from the first pics - it's a good lens for environmental portraits (it takes to get very near to the subject).
Just because I like to shoot in low light situations, and f/4 maybe is a little bit slow, I'd like to see some interior shots (i'll check Philippe's gallery) or night shots, so any kind of examples or tips are really welcome!
bye
