I have an Amedeo adapter for Nikon RF to M mount, but I am afraid to try to mount my 21mm CV lens as it is so deep. Has anyone used this combo and was there any issue? I am able to mount my 35mm Nikor RF lens on the M8 but the 21mm seems longer in the rear.
Thanks for your help!

Being the same lens, the CV 21/4 M and its SC version with adapter should have their rear element at the exact same distance from the film or sensor. I would not worry then but i have no experience with the SC so far.

Voigtlander SC Skopar 21mm f4 (NO - rear element too large, interferes with rangefinder mechanism)

Thanks guys..... bummer it appears then that my 21mm CV will not work on my M's. Oh well better to find out than to damage the camera/lens.

I have the same combo, in theory it could work the lens is deep protruding but there are even deeper ones (biogon contax etc) Problem is the lens interferes with the coupling mechanism first. It mounts without problems by adapter on cameras wirhhout rf coupler (like m43 and nex or similar)
So in short m8/m9 -> no
Mirrorless -> yes
