Be careful with the parallax errors at close focus I recently made some classic "chop their heads off" photos with that lens - but otherwise it's a great fun lens to use -quick and lightweight good luck

Congrats, you will have a lot of fun with this little princess. New is always better than used, a complete different feeling. I hat all used stuff which is sensitive and needs careful treatment, most f all cars and photo gear, excepted stuff I get from good friends.

159GBP is a very good price for a very good lens, and one that I may be tempted. Do you mind me asking which dealer had it.

I have the 28 Skopar but could certainly do with something a tad wider.
