I have never shot the 28mm focal length on a rangefinder. Lately, I have been looking for something wider than 35mm I am thinking of seeing how I like it. This seems to be a good inexpensive choice.

I would be interested in hearing some users' opinions of this lens - handling, results, flare-resistance, etc. Any sample photos or links would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the offer, guys. 🙂

Let me do a little bit more research first ...

I had one for a long time (traded it for something wider - a focal length issue only). This lens is built very well. It is heavy and all mechanical functions are very smooth, a step or two above most other CV lenses. At the same time it is tiny, especially without the lens hood. It was a great lens for a travel or walk around kit - I loved it on my old CLE wi th 40/2. I don't shoot into the sun much, so I can't comment on flare, but I was very pleased with the images it created. I usually used it for landscapes or city scapes, so I liked its sharp and contrasty look. I didn't use it much wide open or focused close. The offers to test it out are quite a nice luxury!

Sorry, I just noticed Ray kind of made the same point about using it with a CL and 40/2, but of course the CLE actually has 28mm framelines that are nicely visible, making it an ideal match.
